"Nick Katsoris is an author to watch!"
Reviewer: Narayan Radhakrishnan, REBECCASREADS.COM
Lawyer, Nick Katsoris, in his debut work, Crimes of Fire has combined the better
elements of Mario Puzo's Godfather and John Grisham's The Firm to produce an action-filled, suspense-packed thriller culminating in a top-notch courtroom drama, & a stunning, twist-in-the-tale finish. Katsoris knows how to tell a good story, & knows how to keep the reader riveted. It is obvious that Katsoris has been inspired by the works of Grisham, & there is a 'Grisham-esque' flavor to the narration. The author keeps the suspense & action steady throughout, & there is never a dull moment! The author has the stuff to write a gripping thriller, & I believe in the near future, Katsoris will be a force to reckon with in the exciting world of the legal thriller genre."
"A compelling story!"
Reviewer: Colleen Dougher, CITY LINK MAGAZINE
"Crimes of Fire is a compelling story rife with the sort of scenes that took
place in the courtroom where Katsoris worked -- tales of murder, arson,
drugs, organized crime and revenge. . . That Katsoris will succeed is likely,
not just because Crimes of Fire is a good book, but because, much like his
character Monica Hayes, Katsoris is persistent."
"Guaranteed to keep the reader riveted to the written page . . ."
Reviewer: Ignatious Schiavo, THE WEEKENDER
Katsoris is "A Fordham graduate who had a dream. For most, finishing law school would be the culmination of that dream, but Katsoris was driven by a far more artistic muse than the ability to paint a picture in the halls of justice. He wished to paint a picture on the written page for all the world to enjoy. Don't ever let them tell you that dreams don't come true"

"May have you on the edge of your beach towel in suspense this summer!"
Reviewer: Paul Hagen, The OBSERVER
"In his first novel, Crimes of Fire author Nick Katsoris combines his years
in the courtroom with his passion for writing to create a legal thriller
chock-full of twists, turns and mysteries that may have you on the edge of
your beach towel in suspense this summer. . .John Grisham is a clear
influence on the legal thriller aspects of the novel, but Katsoris also shows
an Anne Rice-like attraction to using beautifully described exotic locales as
backdrops for his story."
"Crimes of Fire . . . It Sizzles!"
Reviewer: A. Stewart from Bronx, NY USA
This novel is captivating! It is full of suspense, intrigue, colorful
characters, and surprising twists. Once you start reading, you cannot stop.
As I read the book, I actually visualized the movie version! There wasn't a
dull moment in the story. If you like John Grisham's work, you'll love Nick
Katsoris' Crimes of Fire.
"Crimes Of Fire Burns With Intrigue And Suspense"
Reviewer: Peter Betsis, The Hellenic Times (reprinted with permission).
It seems that during the twentieth century, each generation has acquired a
fascination wth organized crime and the Mafia. From the early days when
Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel opened the Pink Flamingo, which was the founding of
Las Vegas as we know it today, the allure of organized crime has captivated
the imagination of the public. And how could it not; intrigue, violence,
money, and sex all intertwine to form an irresistible real-life mix that
lends itself perfectly to fiction. And in this grand tradition comes Crimes
of Fire, an exciting new novel by Nick Katsoris that contains all the
elements we've come to expect from this genre, including a few surprises and
twists as it winds itself down an international road of arson, murder, drug
smuggling, and deceit, with a little romance thrown in for good measure. The
plot centers around the cold-blooded murder of Katharine Pirelli by her
husband Tony, a real sweetheart who dispatches his wife by burning down their
home with her in it. With their son Steven as an accomplice, Tony feels he's
committed the perfect crime, until his suspicious sister-in-law, distraught
over the death of her estranged sister, approaches an eager Assistant United
States Attorney (Monica) anxious to further her career. With the help of a
male colleague (Jeff), the story commences down a winding path whose settings
include the Greek islands of Mykonos and Santorini, and Italy's famed Amalfi
Coast. Without giving away too much of the plot, it suffices to say that
romance, courtroom melodrama and a Judge who provides levity all come
together in a mix that will surely please fans of The Sopranos. Although the
novel's heroine, Monica, is tenacious in her pursuit of a conviction, she is
still a lovesick girl at heart who desperately wants it all, but fears
winding up with nothing, including her life. The cast of characters is
impressive, but not everyone or everything is what it appears to be. And
herein lies the fun and suspense in Crimes of Fire. Just when you think you
may have figured something out, author Nick Katsoris throws in a curve to
heighten your interest. With all its suspense and intrigue, Crimes of Fire
keeps a bit of humanity at its core, but not without reminding us that
despite all the good in the world, there is not always enough to go around to
compensate for the evil and greed that lurks in the hearts of those who seek
to profit from the misery of others. And Crimes of Fire makes a perfect gift
for those who like a good novel to help pass the winter doldrums.
"A Stirring and Dramatic Novel."
Reviewer: A reader from Harrington Park, NJ
Once the plot was established and I could visualize all the characters, I was
taken on a stirring investigation leading into very dramatic courtroom
settings. The unforeseen events occurring throughout the novel carry the
reader to a shocking conclusion. I found Crimes of Fire keeping me up at
night wanting to read on.
"Fast paced, entertaining and credible!!"
Reviewer: A reader from Haworth, NJ USA
I concur with the reviewer from Harrington Park... this is a book worth
staying awake at night to read. Within a few pages, Katsoris dots his story
with colorful characters just real enough to unnerve you when they stumble,
and laugh with joy when they win. Katsoris handles all his themes with
admirable dexterity and clarity. The pace is fast, the characters interesting
and the result entertaining.

that it's filled with surprises...just when you think you know what will
happen next, the story turns! There is no way you can predict the outcome so
